Assessments were conducted for all skill areas; in Housekeeping five out of eleven students achieved full NVQ-J in March, nine trainees in Furniture making   have completed 16 units.

Ten students from Abilities Foundation will be represented Jamaica in Los Angeles, participating in Football, Basketball and Athletics.

Through the Social and Economic Inclusion project for Persons with Disabilities we were able to facilitate empowerment and professional building seminars which were geared towards infusing our clients with confidence to prepare their resumes and attend interviews and have positive outcomes. Abilities professional day was held on April 24 , 2015. All eighty trainees were evaluated by facilitators and administration. Trainees were given feedback on their interviews and given tips on interview techniques.

The National Youth Service interviewed sixty one (61) in of our trainees in April, for their Summer work programme. In addition twenty-one of our 2014 graduates were placed in six-month work internships and three of the organizations have indicated to the job coach that they will be retaining three of our graduates, two were placed at Emancipation Park and the other at Hope Gardens.

Seven Teachers successfully trained in Level2 Jamaica Sign Language Course  to provide  much needed communication access for our deaf trainees

Thirty Trainees completed Professional Development and Work Readiness Workshops in January 2016 as a result seven trainees were placed in permanent jobs through NYS.

​Under the Workforce Inclusion project we have developed working partnerships with enterprises that have assisted in the placement of our trainees. The Foundation forged partnerships with the Rotary Club of Kingston, Digicel, Caribbean Glass Ltd, and National Youth Service.
